Piglowska v. Piglowski UKHL 27
Ancillary relief: Order of District Judge provided for wife to remain in former matrimonial home but did not provide for husband's claimed housing needs. Husband appealed. Appeal dismissed by High Court. Husband appealed successfully to Court of Appeal. House of Lords allowed the wife's appeal and restored the order of the judge. House of Lords made clear that any appeal court should be very slow to interfere with the exercise of discretion by a trial judge who has seen the parties in person and heard all the evidence.
